PHD STUDENT POSITION IN PALEOGENOMICS
The Reynolds Lab is currently recruiting a graduate student to lead our ancient DNA research program. Potential areas of specialization include: human population history, dietary and paleoenvironmental reconstruction. We have ongoing collaborations with archaeologists working in Belize, Mexico, Iceland, and the United States.
Students with previous experience in ancient DNA or in one of the following areas are particularly encouraged to apply: bioarchaeology, genetics, computer science, statistics. Interested students should contact Dr. Reynolds to discuss this opportunity further.
I do not currently have funding to support postdoctoral researchers, but this may change in the near future. I am also willing to work with interested students on postdoc funding applications to organizations such as the NSF or NIH. So interested graduate students should reach out to discuss options.
